About 51 Grand

The 50 Grand Story

Well, one day I was having a lunch with my family and the word was about recent  recession and economy. I was asking my dad for an advice on where to invest my money?  He `s been working in a bank for over 20 years and he should know something about it! Yeah, right!

The same old speach:

He said: “You know son, You should stick to your business! There is no quick way of making money and the stock market is just too risky! Forget about it. Just forget abou it!” and continued eating.

Ok, I said! Forget about stocks. What if I bring you 50 grand and put them on this very table in front of you, would you then tell me where to invest them?

… there was 2 seconds of silence and afterwards he almost choked on chicken he was eating and started to laugh uncontrollably.

If you, if you, bring me 50 thousand bucks and put them on this table, then I will sureley tell you where to invest them. But make sure you tell me one day in advance, so I can take money detector from my office to see if they are real.

So that was it…I couldn`t resist to laugh, because it was a funny situation. But then I started thinking. What if I would do it. I mean really do it. I know something about marketing, about building websites, but haven`t really had time to make it. Thats when I decided I will make 51 grand completely online. I went to my room, registered a domain name and here I am writing this about page.

The Goal of 51 Grand

My goal is to make 50 thousand dollars (plus one) online and then put them on the table before my dad and family! I will document everything that will happen from now on (9th of March 2009) to the point of putting the money on table.

What do you think? Can I make it?
