Long story: I write short stories / miniseries, and am looking for other authors with websites (Top-level domain not necessary, I use a free host) who are willing the band up with a webring or some form of affiliates network, for purposes of directing traffic to each other’s sites.

I’ve found some interesting blogs like SEOmoz, Jonathan Mendez, shoemoney, searchenginejournal, martinez, Avinash Kaushish etc, but am finding it difficult to follow so many. Any expert opinions out there on which are the best blogs in this field? Can be abt SEO or PPC.

I am not a lawyer, but I think there is nothing wrong with sindicating content from other sites as long you have permission from the owner.

I see lots of blogs republishing content, but you are talking about RSS…this means exact copy of content. In this case I think it is fair to include original source of information.

As far as ads are concerned I don`t see any problem with that.

Can I post my own content on my blog, but have a dedicated stream (maybe three times per hour) or an RSS feed from various sites on my ad supported blog? Is it legal for me to do so since I am making money in the process?

Hey Ricky!

I am currently learning how to do PPC the right way. I have blown some money, because I didn`t know what I was doing…

Percentage of success varies significantly. The key is relevance.

Relevant keyword > relevant ads > relevant landing page > relevant product

If you fail with any of these you will have a hard time making money.

Tipical conversion rates are 1-2%, but with aligning all of the above you can vastly increase this number.

I can`t tell you exact numbers yet, but will post results of my campaigns and progress.
